Seek for Us Through the Mist

Today was the day, thought Chiron. The centaur was making his way, cautiously, to greet the returning Campers. Campers that were year-rounders, were all in the Dining Pavillion, for the banquet dinner that was the reopening of Camp Half Blood to most of it's Campers. Chiron knew the drill. He would give a warm smile to each one of them, perhaps a hug to the ones he really knew, and small conversation with each. Then they would get unpacked, dressed, and would immediately report to the Dining Pavillion for further instruction, where Dionysus was already handling them. He finally got to the top of the hill, and waited patiently.

Luna trudged up the hill that lead to the camp. She finally got past the tree. She looked upon the camp. Nothing had changed and she was happy for that, because as she got older everything started becoming different. More monsters were attacking her and she was glad to be at camp where the border stopped any creature from entering. She noticed Chiron and walked up to him. "I'm back." she smiled halfheartedly.

Aaron was waiting at the Poseidon table, alone like always. He didn't really have an relatives on his godly side, so he kinda tucked himself away. He did have friends, however, so he didn't mind.

"Welcome back, Luna," He greeted, extend a hand for her to shake. "How was your year?" He smiled.
He was wearing the torso of Greek armor, and his fur looked neat and combed. This day was always special.

"It was okay. I kept getting attacked by chimeras though. It's weird. It's like they are attracted to me." She was wearing a small black dress with a light blue ribbon around her waist. She took his hand.

"Hm. I see," He said. "Well, the Chimera is not after you. Echidna makes the orders, the Chimera only follows them. Whatever Echidna has against you, I'm sure it's your fathers--" He dared himself to say 'fault' or 'mistake'. "---Your father's business." He caught himself.

"Maybe." Luna sighed. Her cuts from her first attack started to sting. "But I guess my father may want me dead. I mean I'm not very good to him." She said.

"Don't think like that," Chiron scowled, brushing off some matting in his coat. "Hades would never---" He patted her shoulder. "Go ahead off to your Cabin. Other Campers are arriving."

Caleb, carrying his bag, walked through the barrier. "H-hey, Chiron!" He said, smiling enthusiastically.

Avery walked in, her small duffle bags with the rainbows on it following behind her. She saw Chiron, who used to be one of her only friends and her pace became a quick jot over to him! She started her way up the hill, so close but still so far away from him.
"Chiron!"
She yelled excitedly, running up to him.

Luna nodded to Chiron and walked to the Hades' table and sat down. She never liked eating at the camp because she was complete and utterly alone at the table. She sighed and laid her head on the wood.

Chiron laughed. "Go get packed, Caleb. Apparently someone is excited to see me." He smiled, looking at Avery. "Welcome back, Avery!"

Aaron walked over, chuckling quietly. "At least there are many people returning. That's a good sign. " He said cheerfully.

Leo raced up, a new camper, trying to find refuge. He passed the tree, and stumbled in surprise at what was just beyond his range of sight. He glanced back at the monster chasing him, which happened to be the Minotaur. It glared at Leo, unable to continue, and made a rude gesture at Aaron, almost saying That's for the time in Tartarus your brother gave me

Chiron said, "And we have some guests," He gestured over to Leo. "Welcome to Camp Half Blood."

"Before it harms other campers. Be careful." He warned. "And tell that young demigod to come over here, before he gets hurt."

Allie, being a year-rounder, came and stood by Chiron. Seeing the Minotaur, she pulled her bow from seemingly nowhere, nocked and arrow, and fired. It missed, much to her disappointment.

"Don't fret, Allie," Chiron soothed. "Why don't you go for some appetizers? Though, Master Dionysus is there... On second thought, why don't you greet the campers' with me?"

"All right," she agreed, watching Aaron race off to skewer the Minotaur. "Do you suppose we'll be getting any new campers this year?"

Allie chuckled once. She wondered if there would be any quests this year; there hadn't been one in a long time.
"Have anything exciting planned for this year?" she asked, though she was pretty sure she knew the answer. You hear things when you spend all year at camp.

Chiron shot her a sly glance. "I'm sure I can pull something out of my hoof," He said, replacing sleeve with a bad pun. "Though, there may be more than we bargained for."

Sunny raced through the camp boundries. "What is that thing?! Oh hi im sunny, sunny mcdonald!" she told them still breathing heavily and bleeding cuts on her arms.

Scipio raced down the road, Curtis a little ahead of him. They were being chased by this giant black dog thing. It's fur was shaggy, and its gait was large. It was catching up fast.

The Minotaur spotted the Hellhound, and ran from Aaron, cackling in it's special bull way. It was going to aid the Hellhound in vanquishing two new, inexperienced demigods.

Chiron's eyes widened. As Raven walked up to ask Chiron something, probably after Dionysus ignored her and told her to ask Chiron, he pointed--- "Raven, perfect! Go, help Aaron and those boys!" She smirked evilly.

"My pleaseure, Master Chiron," Two orbs of purple energy appeared in her palms.
